for those who may be interested, the Falcated Teal was seen on Sunday
Feb. 24 where it remained all day. The bird can always be seen from the
Sharp Road Hatchery (just a few miles south of Tofino off the highway)
It does not leave the area but merely moves around the bay\mudflats
depending on tides and\or disturbance.
Last year it was seen until March 28. In the spring of '94 it was
present from 19-22 April.
