Hi Tweets, just was wondering if anyone could share some local spots where
Redheads or Wood Ducks have been seen lately. A friend and I are trying
to put together a 'Big Duck' day of waterfowl birding. Considering the
King Eider and Ross' Goose are still being seen, this seems like good
timing. So locations in Seattle, Whidbey, or Samish flats areas (or
anywhere en route) would be suitable. All other species are accounted
for. If all goes as planned, we should expect 34 species of waterfowl.
And after a good day's ducking, we'll stop by the Anacortes site to
glimpse the newly-tagged Great Gray Duck.
