Well how about summer? Isabel Landsberg and I led a SAS field trip to
Marrowstome Island and vicinity in July last year and we saw 2 Tuffed
Puffins across from Protection Island. They were very close into the beach
and the group got great views.

I am interested in finding out when is the best time to look for puffins at
Dungeness Spit -- that is, the earliest time in the SPring. I will be
approaching the area by boat, and would appreciate information regarding
the start of Spring migration.

Thanks,
