The wild turkeys are back (mixed flock) in the Jeans Rd. area of Veneta.
They're hanging out in the field behind the vacant house on the corner of
Ellmaker and Englund Loop. The flock looks somewhat smaller than usual.

New behavior noted. They now appear to be flying tree to tree over the road
rather than walking across as they normally do. I can't confirm that this
wasn't just a fluke, but I haven't seen them crossing on foot recently.
