The easiest place I know for seeing wild (but somewhat tame) turkeys is
on the west side of Olympia, where Division St. turns into 28th Ave.
N.W. They hang around the little farms there. When I last saw them, in
the fall, there were at least a dozen, including several young ones.
It's clearly a wild flock, but they often feed close to the streets and
are not spooked much by people.
