Hey Tweets,

I've begun work on an online ID guide which will work as a
supplement to our much-beloved and well-thumbed field guides we keep
around the house. The site has links to various photographers' images
around the country, and over 200 species are present. The site will
(eventually) have English, French, and Latin names for each of the North
American species.
At the moment, I am looking for ANY photos which are being used
on an accessible Web site that the original photgrapher will give me
permission to link to. If you have a Web site with one of your photos,
drop me a line-- I'll use it. Copyright warnings are going to be posted
on every page and I plan to do a "bio" section on the photographers (if
they're willing to participate!).
This idea sprang from the Red-shouldered Hawk Debate that was on
Tweeters not so long back. The usefulness of Scott Ray's photos in
providing fuel for conversation was truly remarkable. Plumage variation
in individual birds can sometimes be great, especially in hawks like
Redtails. The ultimate goal is to have as many different individuals of
different species as possible. Different plumages, especially with
regards to sex and season, will help identification as well.

Thank you in advance,
Pat Scott
