A Great Grey Owl is being seen regularly at the Summerland Research Stn
just north of Penticton in the Okanagan Valley, BC. Seen 1 Jan in late
afternoon - latest report (Syd Cannings)

A N. Hawk-Owl is apparently 1 mile n. of Winthrop on the East Chewuck
River Road - seen on the CBC up there a couple days ago.

Snow Bunting-400 were on Colville Plateau 30 December 10 miles s. of
Okanogan on Wakefield-Cameron Lake Rd. 2500 were on Waterville Plateau 2 miles
n. of Withrow in Douglas County.

Common Redpoll-400 were in water birch at milepost 267 on Hwy 20 just
east of Tonasket in Okanogan County 30 Dec. 50 were in birches on West Foster
Creek in n. Douglas County 1 January.
