Its been a good couple of days in and around the zoo.

Yesterday an immature Bald Eagle came to visit the rehab area just north of
the Feline House. The resident GBH is spending a lot of time in a tree above
the Lion moat, probably waiting for the all clear to go fishing. We had a
report of a Hutton's Vireo visiting the ducks in the Marsh exhibit. And
finally about 9AM returning from downtown I saw a Perigrine sitting atop a
light standard on the Aurora Bridge. I usually look at the light standards
just to see how many crows, gulls and pidgeons are around and this morning
they were all gone except for the falcon. "Its all happening at the ..."
