Here's a response from my message last night that was posted on OBOL. It
looks to me that morning is a better time for the bird--I was over this
part of the path five times yesterday afternoon without sighting it. I
really recommend that people get down here early if you are to search for

My wife and I saw the flycatcher this morning (thursday) around 9:00 in the
solitary willows along the graveled part of the path. Another person who was
there said that he had seen the red-shouldered hawk earlier that morning, but
we didn't see it.
