Arlene -

I've had a 'surge' of about 15 pine siskins in the yard every day since last
Saturday. They usually show up around noon, chow down for an hour or so, and
then take off. They weren't very skittish - I didn't see them at first, was
out filling other feeders, and looked up to realize I was within 2-3 feet of
the siskins. They dive-bombed me on their way to/from the thistle feeder, and
chased the chickadees away. They didn't tackle the house finches.
