On Saturday, last week, two Short-eared Owls were seen at sunset (1630)
cruising past Buildings 3 & 4. on the parking lot side. They interacted
very briefly before resuming their hunts. Also seen on or from the NOAA
campus were 14 Killdeer, two Snipe, a Cooper's Hawk and a pair of Canvas
Backs along with the usual suspects.
