Dear Tweeters--

There will be a Memorial Service for Merilyn Hatheway at 2:00PM
on Thursday, January 11, at the Mercer Island Congregational Church,
4545 Island Crest Way, on Mercer Island.

Merilyn was a long-time member of Seattle Audubon Society, a member of
the Falcon Research Group, and a former board member of the Washington
Ornithological Society.

Her family opened their house in the last year to the many birders who were
able to watch a Black-throated Blue Warbler in the Hatheway's back yard.

Merilyn was involved in the education of school children, also,
involving many children in the study of birds.
