Yesterday morning around 9:30 I saw perhaps 50 pine siskins in our back
yard foraging mostly on the ground. There were a few juncos mixed in.
My wife was in the shower and I called to her about the siskins.
However, by the time she got to the window, they had all flown out of our
yard and over to a neighbor's. She did see them over there and we both
marveled how we hadn't seen any for months in our yard, and then to have
this many.
