Someone asked about surges of pine siskins:
We have had a flock of between 70 and 100 pine siskins at our thistle and
sunflower seed feeders everyday since we got back from vacation on
Wednesday. Since we live in an apartment with a very small porch, it's
quite a sight to see them swarm around the feeders! We were blown
away when we first saw them- the porch is covered with them.
