Subject: Bushtit Report--Southern Sector

There's nothing like a little sunshine to get one feeling better. As I
walked outisde a few minutes ago, there was a flock of about 25 bushtits,
and smack in the middle of them was a single black-capped chickadee.
Chickadees aren't hard to find in some of the park areas just north of
campus, but I don;t see them on campus very often. Another lesson
learned with regard to these winter flocks--always double check. RK
