And for those on the West Side, the Short-eared Owl at Sand Point is being
seen pretty regularly, usually at dusk over the grassy fields. Yesterday
it was being harrassed by a single crow but the owl could easily
outmaneuver the crow. They're certainly agile for having such a long
wing-span.
