Hello to all of you!

I'd just like to take a moment and introduce myself and tell you all how
much I'm looking forward to being a part of this group.

My name is Peggi Rodgers and I used to write up the field notes for our
county's chapter of the Audubon Society. I've been a birder for several
years now thanks to a surprise birthday gift from my husband of binoculars
and the Audubon Field Guide. It was a hit and I was an instant convert!

In addition to my work at Oregon Research Institute (human behavioral
studies) in Eugene, OR, I'm involved in wildlife rehabilitation with a
specialty of waterfowl. I'm trying to add to my facilities this year,
however, to handle marsh birds as well.
