Dear Birdwatchers,

Today we saw an unidentified Accipiter over the east of the soccer field.
It was soaring at first then it dived for its prey. Then it
dived for its prey again. We hope it caught its prey. We also noticed
that it was not flapping too much like a Sharpy would.

Two days ago we saw a Sharpy flying from a tree top to another tree top on
the east of our soccer field. After a short while it made a dive for its
prey in the creek area. We went over to the trees and our teacher went in
to see if it caught its prey. He saw a Sharpy eating the bird on a limb
of a tree. Then as we approached the Sharpy flew off with its prey.
I think it is so fascinating.

Today after school some kids are going to Marymoor Park to look for owls.
