Thanks a ton for the tips. I'll look at that web site you mentioned, as well
as trying the 24-bit JPEG files. I just got the scanner, and am still trying
to figure out what in the world it can (and can't) do. Boy, what a
time-waster! I tell myself, "I'll only spend 20 minutes messin' with this
thing", and next thing I know it's two hours later. Hey, we only live
once . . .
