LEGISLATORS GO AGAIN. REP. DALE FORMAN AND REP. BRIAN THOMAS ARE
INTRODUCING LEGISLATION THAT LOOKS A LOT LIKE REF.48.

WE NEED TO REMIND THEM THAT WE ALREADY REJECTED TAKINGS!

WHO: Everyone who worked, volunteered, or voted to reject 48.

WHAT: House Government Operations hearing on 48-like legislation from both
Foreman (HB 2223) and Thomas.

WHEN: FRIDAY, JANUARY 12TH, 8 AM

WHERE: J. L. O'Brien Building, Hearing Room B

If you can't make it to Olympia on Friday, call the toll free legislative
hotline at 1-800-562-6000.

Message: I am opposed to HB 2223 because takings legislation serves the
special interests and not the public interest. It costs too much and goes
too far.

Leave a message for your own legislator if they are on the House Government
Operations Committee. If your legislator is not on the committee, leave a
message for the Chair, Rep. Bill Reams.
