Hello Tweeters,

I would have to agree with Richard. Terry possesses a great wealth of
knowledge, and could contribute to much to our understanding of the bird
life in our state by logging on to tweeters. As one of the co-authors of
the planned book "The Birds of Washington", much of Terry's experience and
expertise will be recorded for generations to come. I am personally
grateful for the fact that I have gotten to know Terry quite well in
working on this project with him, and as such, I think that I can step out
on a limb and speak on Terry's behalf here. I think that the thought of
zillions of e-mail messages busting at the seams of Terry's computer would
create enough stress to, not only cause Terry to lose sleep at night, but
would cause perforated ulcers in many of his ancestors long since
deceased! I must admit, that I avoid the WWW for perhaps the same reason.
I would recommend that the best way to get to know Terry is to meet him in
his own element, out on the ocean, on one of his boat trips.
