Hello Tweets (and Alan Richards),
Regarding the post that follows from Alan Richards: Many thanks for the
correction! Perfectionist that I am, I would appreciate knowing in the
future when I misspell anything I encounter while transcribing the
messages from the Birdbox. As for the other misspellings in "various
places" (as you mention, Alan), please let me know the specifics.
I spelled Ziak with a "c" based on a message left on the Birdbox in early
December in which the caller spelled out the name Z-I-A-C-K. At that
point, I was grateful for any kind of help with the spelling. In a
previous message about the Brambling, I couldn't figure out the name at
all. Zeke, Zack, or ??? And please don't suggest that I call people to
confirm name or place spellings. Typing the transcript is enough to keep
me busy at the moment. :-)
Alan, it didn't occur to me to include the reference to Naselle, since the
reference was made in previous messages on the Birdbox about the
Brambling. Sorry about that.
---Lisa
