Ken Brown and I observed both the VERMILLION FLYCATCHER and the
RED-SHOULDERED HAWK today, Jan 13, at the Carey Unit of the Ridgefield NWR.

RSHA was found in the trees along the Lake River levee. Continue along the
road beyond the footbridge to the far gate, then bear left into the open
field to the south. Look into the bare trees about mid-height.
