OK, these are the ones I considered normally occurring (i.e. you can
count on finding them):
Wood Duck Green-winged Teal Mallard N. Pintail
N. Shoveler Gadwall E. Wigeon A. Wigeon
Canvasback Ring-necked Duck G. Scaup L. Scaup
Harlequin Duck Oldsquaw all 3 scoters both goldeneyes
Bufflehead all 3 mergansers Ruddy Duck.

Hmmm. Must have overlooked a few in my earlier post (I also counted on
my fingers). I didn't include Black Duck, because they're introduced,
and I didn't include Redhead, because they're pretty hard to find.

Actually, a larger-scale big waterfowl day would be really fun. While
the eider is in town, you could see 30 native species (and 2 introduced
ones with Black Duck and Mute Swan) of waterfowl in a day by adding swans
and geese. And if you were really in the mood, you could stop by
Piling's Pond and the zoo to add some interesting 'ticks'. And of course
Muscovy Ducks at Magnuson Park! I know, I know, now you think I'm just a
quack. But really, I'm not fowl!
