Laurinda Anglin and I saw the brambling on Saturday at about 3:30
after sitting for about 1-1/2 hours. We were about to give up when
she made her appearance. She is prettier and more delicate than any
pictures show. She would fill her bill with food and go off somewhere
else to eat. It was a great end to the day which began early to see
the Vermilion flycatcher. We saw both birds very well. Watched the
flycatcher from as close as 30 feet.
