Subject: Banded Canada Geese

Northwest of Vancouver Lake today, 1-17-96, I had three neck banded dark
Canada geese. These birds had orange neck bands with white letters. Each had a
large vertical K (up and down the neck), and the birds then had horizontal
numbers--A0 (zero), M3, and H4. All three birds were together in water,
so no leg bands were visible.
I'm interested in getting the data to the people who need it and
also have similar data from a bird on Sauvis Island last fall, and some
Canadas with white neck bands and black lettering this spring. I aslo
have snowy plover band data from Tillamook. I've e-mailed the Banding
Lab, with the goose data in this paragraph, but never received any
confirmation. Does anyone out there know of more direct routes to get
this data to the researchers who need it? Respond to me personally
unless you feel it's beneficial for all. Thx. RK
