I remember an incident when I was a teenager. My mom maintained a couple of
feeders outside our dining room window. One day, all the birds scattered a
s a Cooper's Hawk swooped in and landed in our Box Elder. I was so impresse

d by it, and I had such a close
look at it. It appeared to glare at me (I know, I know, I'm giving it human characteristics...) as if assigning blame for its unsuccessful raid.
So far my feeders only seem to attract the neighborhood cats, a problem I'm slowly working on.Michael Brown ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
