We're in the Maple Leaf neighborhood and it is fairly common
to have a sharpie checking out my feeders. I have seen a robin
knocked down, but recovered and got into the bushes before the
sharpie could get to it.
Another time it flew right past me straight into a huge scraggly
rose bush after something. It missed and then fell straight down
to get out of the bush and just before it hit the ground
spread its wings and took off. It was quite impressive to see
go smashing into the brambles.
I've also seen a kestrel lurking in the bushes on occasion.
