Scott,

I have a report from the local mailman and an experienced Douglas County birder
that the Snowy Owl near Lamoine is back. It has been seen fairly consistantly
along the Logan Road (F road) about 1/2 mile north of the Lamoine Road. I tried
to find it Saturday (in a blizzard) but did not. The only "good" bird seen on
Saturday (1/20) was Snow Bunting in flocks of 30 to 500+, as well as mixed in
with some Horned Lark flocks.
