While hiking through the Winter Garden at the Washington Park Arboretum
today, I spotted two Anna's Hummingbirds feeding on yellow blossoms of the
tall Oregon Grape (Mahonia x Arthur Menzies) near the entrance to the Winter
Garden. In the half-hour I was there, the birds reliably returned to these
blossoms after wandering off several times. This being my first spotting of
Anna's I am unsure whether these are commonly seen in the Seattle area in
winter.

Can anyone advise me?
