We continue to get rain here as well. 1 4/10" yesterday and between 6:30
and 7:00 am. last night we got another half inch. The ground has ceased to
absorb it and the ducks are in 7th heaven.
But back to your question. I've seen raptor kills and it's usually a small
pile of feathers as they pluck the bird while eating, or they'll fly off
with it and you'll find nothing. A cat will either leave nothing by
carrying it away, or will leave a tail feather, foot or wing parts.
