There's another boat launch just east of Camp Murray that you can reach by
leaving I-5 at the Camp Murray exit (there's a jet aircraft on a pedestal),
driving straight W to the end of the road, turning left and winding down to
the lake, where I've seen a lot of birds, including the Little Gull at a
distance. There was a gate at the entrance to the road to the boat launch
there, and I assume that's still open, but I haven't been there for a
couple of years now.
