Trevor - I really like your poem. The ending caught me by surprise,
and made me wonder the following:

Which one is better?
I cannot say.
To root for the hunter or root for the prey?

The hunter is hungry.
To hope it gets food?
Or hope that the victim may raise its own brood?

They both are deserving.
Would that both could survive!
The chef or the serving - its hard to decide.

Little Sparrow

Something,
but nothing.
Still something,
but still nothing.
I have not seen anything,
but still I feel something.
I see nothing no danger or anything.
The crows are not giving a warning sign.
Hey, where are the crows.
caw... caw... caw...
SWOOSH.....
I look behind me.
I see a Sharpie.
He comes down so fast
and hits me with full speed.
The bird knocks me off my feet
and I'm done.
