The Carnation March Osprey nest site is the nearest one I know of to
Marymoor, too, and it's only just "over the ridge." But there's so much
reasonable Osprey-nesting habitat closer to Marymoor, and Osprey are
known to nest in sometimes absurdly close proximity to human habitation.
So the call's still out... anybody know of one closer?

The Osprey nesting tree at Carnation Marsh broke in the wind storm last
month. Doubtful they will use that tree this year unless someone puts
a nesting pole on it. Not many other good nesting trees in the Marsh
so the Carnation pair may be looking elsewhere for building this spring.
