HELP! I just received a e-mail from Torivar Bjoenness in Norway with
an attached GIF file map of Montlake Fill. He'd like me to pinpoint
the locations where the longspur (CCLO) was seen last December(?).
Easy enough, but I don't know how to "read" or decode the attached
GIF, and my manual is at work. Can anyone help? I have Spry's
Internet in a Box system which includes a UU code reader.
I did look at his excellent WEB page at
http://home.sol.no/tibjonn/
or the subsection on the "Montlake Phil" at
http://home.sol.no/tibjonn/phil1.htm
and decided that his marvaelous efforts could be complimented by a
better Montake map, and I have the map from Washington Birds #1
around someplace. Therefore, I would propose scanning it tomorrow as
a tif or gif and sending it on. So, how do I attach a tif or gif
file?
