Alan,

We rejected the Common Eider report back in 1974 and have not reopened
the case. There's just no description; take Brown's word for or not.
Given the fact that there's not been another report south of BC (and
perhaps just one old one there, if I recall), there's no reason to change
our mind. The WOS committee has reviewed nearly all the King Eider
records but I forget who's our current Keeper of Notes.
