Why do you think they're called Violent Green Swallows? They're
well-armed, organized into paramilitary units, and they always send out
scouting parties to look for raptors. Of course, small raptors don't
mess with them, in the face of all those armaments. Really, you field-
observer types have got to start reading some serious ornithology
literature, so you'd learn all these interesting facts about the birds
you're observing.
