I hope you're right, Scott. I share Stuart's original reaction, as well as
the thoughts subsequently expressed by Don and by Wes Jansen. Unfortunately
I think some clarification would be appreciated, since I remember an
incident a couple winters ago when a Willamette Valley falconer
deliberately flew his captive bird (redtail?) near a gyrfalcon and watched
the reaction. He was roundly criticized by other birders on (yes) OBOL.
