The original question I posed was: Will a bird of prey be brought
along to increase the spectacle for the people attending the
Shorebird Festival ?

My original perverse thinking was that the bird would be flown in
order to spook the feeding shorebirds and so make the whole more
interesting than just a series of shapes foraging out on the mud. I
did apologise in advance for saying that, should it turn out that I
was wrong. My original posting was a request for information, which
is still not forthcoming - check the archive.
