"My" siskins literally follow me up to my backdoor when I bring the feeders
in for refilling/cleaning, and hang out on the gutters until I put the feeders
back out. I don't think mine were scared off by that! :)

I'm not sure about the predator presence. While I do have the occasional
predator, the siskins usually just duck into the large trees until it's gone.
And I've had hordes of juncos and finches in the yard while the siskins have
been gone. No change of seed brand and no change of feeder position, either.
