Do you suppose it's possible that the point of the "festival" producers
is to alert the public to an opportunity to view these wonderful
creatures which they may not have been aware of in the past; i.e., the
"eagle festival" in Concrete/Marblemount this weekend. Previous
inquiries were met with derisive comments about dancing. I am a new
birder/tweeter and appreciate the information about what's hot to see
at any given time that I may not have learned about elsewhere.
