Tweeters;
For those who attended the WOS field trip to Okanogan County on May 18th I
have it on good authority that the White-headed Woodpeckers you saw now have
young. I sent my friend who is looking for the same birds but on the
Canadian side of the border the directions to the 2 pair seen east of
Omak(?). Sorry I don't have a copy of that message but it was the directions
that involved the beer cans. Anyway she is not having much luck locating any
White-headed Woodpeckers in the South Okanagan so she was desperate to see
the live version and heading down to Omak and located the nest and heard
several young in the nest cavity though she didn't get to look inside.

I'm signing off tweeters for a month. Have a great July! I'm off to the
Shumagin Islands for a boat trip (work) and some birding (not work but the
reason I'm going).
