Yes, not only can it be verbed, but it has been verbed for
over 400 years--in other words, since the infancy of modern
English.

And a note on Tacoma's Peregrine Falcons: though they did not
breed this year, they are sticking around this summer. The
young female, to be sure, has been peregrinating elsewhere
for a week or so, but I do expect her back. The male was
hanging out yesterday in the shade of a ledge on the Perkins
Building.
