Hunting on public lands is a different issue to my mind. I still don't
believe hunters should "lure" their quarry to make life easy for
themselves. Besides, hunting is supposed to be a sport. An easy kill
is like fishing in at a trout farm. Sure, you get the goods, but where's
the challenge, the sport. I equate refuges with this.

Public lands are a different story. Here the hunter must (theoretically)
pursue his prey. He must follow it and hide himself and ACUTALLY work for
his prize.

This is true, Don was responding to my politically-loaded, designed to
get a response from Don (grin) refuge bashing!
