Here's something you don't hear every day..

I ran into an Olympian reporter today and he told me
about a local woman who was swimming up on White Pass
someplace in a lake and was attacked by 2 river otters.
The attack lasted 45 seconds to one minute and occurred
in 10 12 feet of water. She needed stitches...lots. :(

If anyone has heard of otter attacks that they can
document, please e-mail me off list and I'll pass on
the information as he's writing a story for tomorrow's paper.
please include contact info so he can telephone you if he
needs clarification..
