Mike (et al)--

thanks for leaping into the breach..we knew you missed us. :) :)

I don't know what is a good time for the winter *Zoo Do*..
I suspect after the Xmas madness is over..perhaps in Jan
some time... that might give us the opportunity to plan
that hawk trip into the Skagit Don suggested last year.

That's just great...it's a terrific age to aclimatize little
minds to eco concerns..and introduce them to the spectacularity
of the natural world..where the heck where you when I was
a kid and needed this kind of info? (yeah, I know...the
apple of your old Dad's eye, right?.. don't laugh, you agist!! :)

Well, it was just great...I spent the entire time trying to
get Eileen, Susan et al to eat up the watermelon..to no
avail.. :)

We had great yaks about everything...however, a number of
notables were conspicuous by their absence..there really
just doesn't seem to be a time when everyone is available..
and given the wide distribution of the membership, it will
probably always be geographically inexpedient for many Tweets/.
The Tee was a big success and I understand Jane still might
have a couple left if Tweets who didn't score yet move
quickly..

Cory Siddarth (sp?) showed up with a variety of scopes and
bins for comparison including a humungous Cat Celestron
And Russell brought his *magnificent obsession*..Wow, that
Swarovski of his has the best resolution of any 20-60mm lens
you'd ever want to look through..it's amazing how clean it is
all the way up..

I'm sure I left out some stuff...but, perhaps someone else can
add to it..

We missed meeting some of our Tweet friends and hope everyone who
didn't make it this time, shows up next time..
