Portland Audubon is sponsoring an ocean birding trip out of Garibaldi
(Tillamook Bay) this coming Sunday, July 21, from 7:30-4:30. Birds expected
include early south bound migrants such as jaegers which should be in
breeding plumage and easier to identify. There is also some possibility
of Orca (killer whales) and sea turtles which are both very rare off the
Oregon coast, but may be more common in mid-summer. For information call
Portland Audubon 292-6855, or Bob O'Brien 658-4047 or e-mail me at
H6LG at psuorvm.cc.pdx.edu.

Note: this trip was originally scheduled for Saturday July 20, but has been
rescheduled for the next day.
