there is a family of cedar waxwings that have set up housekeeping
in the bear exhibit at the woodland park zoo. their favorite
activities include hawking insects from the snags inside the
exhibit and taking baths in the stream that flows down the hill,
also inside the exhibit. there are at least seven individuals
that i counted, although there certainly could be more. they are
very active.
