July 17 we observed a strange looking crow in the grass near the REI Bellevue
store. It appeared to be an adult; however, its breast and belly were
completely void of feathers. When it flew, we could see no feathers on the
body under the wings. It gave the impression of having been shaved. There
didn't appear to be any redness in the skin. A very weird looking bird. The
head, back and wings appeared normal.
