I was reminded this morning what a wonderful place it is to live. On the
way to work I was lucky enough to spot an Osprey hovering near Highway 126
just east of Perkins Park. It dove, came up with a fish it its talons and
headed off across the highway. I've never had to slow down to let an Osprey
pass before!!!

It was great!

PS There was a Pied-billed grebe complete with youngster in the Coyote
Creek canal this am as well.
